Own It

Currently Membership is opened to the whole African community both home and in the diaspora including their families and friends. Any person willing to Join the association must be willing to abide to the constitution of PIS and participate financially in the projects of the PIS. All persons Joining Must be willing to pay a  yearly membership fee, a yearly Admin fee, and must contribute to the investment fund by buying a minimum 20 shares within a 24 months period subject to the rules and regulations set out in the constitution as well as contributing a once-off R2000 towards sinking fund subject to rules in the constitution. Here are the types of members the association welcomes and their requirements:

Individuals

Joining Requirements:

  • R250 Yearly Membership
  • R600 Yerarly Admin Fee
  • R2000 Sinking Fund
  • R20000 Investment Fund (Must be paid within 2 years. Pay at least R5000 within the first 12 Months)

NOTE: R2850 Must be initially paid when joining which covers Membership, sinking fund and admin fee

Joining Requirements:

  • R1000 Yearly Membership
  • R1500 Yearly Admin Fee
  • R30000 Investment Fund (Must be paid within 2 years. Pay at least R10000 within the first 12 Months)

NOTE: R2500 Must be initially paid when joining which covers Membership, and admin fee

MEMBERSHIP FORM

PIS Reserves the right to reject an application to become a member if it has reasons to believe that a person’s membership would negatively impact on the association’s brand image. Membership and Admin fees are non-refundable
